Hanwha Precursor Facility
Stimson U&RP were engaged by Hanwha Mining Services to establish a precursor emulsion facility near Boggabri to support the nearby Maules Creek and Tarrawonga Coal Mines. The consultancy required the rezoning of the land, resulting in an additional permitted use in the RU1 zone to facilitate the development, and then the lodgement of an Environmental Impact Statement that was ultimately approved by the Joint Regional Planning Panel.
